In april 2011 I obtained my license as a Professional Scrum Trainer from Ken Schwaber for Scrum.org. As it is a license that is always valid for one year only, I had to decide whether I wanted to extend my license before the end of April 2026.
Despite the many doubts I have, I still decided to make the financial investment. I feel there is still value in keeping open the option of facilitating official Professional Scrum classes for another year. I have also decided to stick to teaching the essential core Professional Scrum classes of PSM (“Professional Scrum Master”), PSPO (“Professional Scrum Product Owner”), PSM-A (“Advanced Professional Scrum Master”) and PSPO-A (“Advanced Professional Scrum Product Owner”). Not only are these the absolute flagship classes, but through these classes I can get any message or insight across that needs to be shared regarding Scrum, regardless of all sorts of hypes or fads that drive students and institutes towards the next flash in the pan.
To celebrate 15 years of being a Professional Scrum Trainer, I have scheduled a session of each of these flagship classes in the fall of 2026:
