Fascinating and hopeful to find that there are bands able to put out a second recording that exceeds their already incredible debut album.
Apologies to Trent. It’s not my fault however that he didn’t produce his best work ever in 2007 (Year Zero). I kind of liked the dirt he produced with Saul Williams. Furthermore we really shouldn’t forget about Yevgueni, Axl Peleman, Eva De Roovere, The Waterboys, Gabriel Rios and -okay, it’s inevitable, I suppose- Radiohead.
But I didn’t waste any money on our shocking friend Marilyn M. Lovers of Chanson and Poetry (every lover?): check out Jean-Louis Murat’s “Charles et Léo” (holding lyrics of Les Fleurs Du Mal).
